INTRO TO DRAGONFOLK

A very powerful species in Unchained, every dragonfolk is a force to be reckoned with. They're a species born out of passion and magic, a species created by dieties as their mark on the world. As a created species, the world & other civilizations existed long before dragonfolk ever did, but once they came into existence there was never a time without dragonfolk again, despite their tumultuous relationships with other species in the world. "Early age dragonfolk" refers to the dragonfolk that were born within the first 10,000 years of dragonfolks existence as a species, when they're new to the world. Even in the early ages they're already well dispersed throughout the world, and their experiences vary wildly from one individual to the next.


PHYSIOLOGY :

Dragonfolk can vary wildly in appearance, in both forms. Their dragon forms can vary in the amount of limbs they have, the kind of scale coverage on their body, their size, and features. The dragon forms usually have at least two wings and two legs. Their humanoid forms are typically a little more consistent, almost always being standard bipedal humanoids, with two arms and two legs, though they do also usually have a tail and horns. Dragonfolk are almost always bigger than most humans, with a much wider range of sizes that is 'normal' for them to be. They're also much, much tougher than humans, borrowing from a dragons hardiness. They usually possess heightened senses compared to those of a humans, and are very often simply stronger. A fight between a human and a dragonfolk is almost never an even one.

MAGICS :

Dragonfolk usually have a soul cast, they have a dragons tongue, can shapeshift, and have unique soul senses. They also have access to rune-based magics. Different dragonfolk have different skills more readily available to them, and it's totally normal for dragonfolk to be mostly untrained in most kinds of magic they have access to.
