Dragonfolk all have a "soul cast", much like true dragons. A magic that comes straight from their soul. For many dragons, it may express as altering their fire breath. Many dragons have an altered fire breath, having variance in things like color or effect. Some dragons and dragonfolk have a healing breath, for example. Many dragons have a magic physically altering their body, or readily accessible to their body naturally. "Soul cast" magic is always natural & innate to the individual, it is not a magic that can be learned by another person (though an individuals skills can be honed with their own soul magic) and it usually feels instinctual and natural for a dragon to access. Many kinds of magic are calculated and measured, soul casting usually is not.

Hopefully, as you can see, a "soul cast" does not manifest consistently, and has varying active intention & action when it comes to "using" a soul cast... often they can manifest as unique physical abilities or magic, but they are a truly wild & lawless form of magic.
