begins yapping about werewolves. so what do we need to figure out. First talk about physiology, then maybe. history. culture. impact. Where they are. but mostly i do want to have a focus on physiology....
Werewolves are creatures with two main forms, a humanoid form, and a beast form. They're also called were-beasts & were-people. They're not always wolves, or wolf-like. They are typically quite large, on average much larger than humans tend to be. Their beast forms are typically huge. If they suppress transformation for too long, it can lead to unpleasant side effects / be forced. They tend to form small packs, sometimes forming small villages / settlements. Often they live quite nomadically, although usually they don't typically have much of a choice. Transformation is a physical & a magical process, and werewolves can utilize the transitionary forms, especially defensively, although they typically aren't very pleasant to sustain for a long period of time.
werewolves can vary pretty greatly in their physiology & strengths, typically though, compared to a human, they have an excellent sense of smell, they have a latent wild magic in their bodies, they tend to be stronger & tougher than humans. Hardier, tougher to kill.... Although pure silver greatly inhibits their healing, and hurts them... Werewolf hunters often utilize silver.
and werewolves Are hunted. They are not integrated into human society, and they never had the chance to be. Werewolves are not infected / corrupted / altered humans, and never were. Although, humans believe werewolfism to be contagious. Werewolves are seen as wild, dangerous animals that should be killed on sight. Most humans have a taught fear & hatred of werewolves. Werewolves learn to fear humans in turn.
